Back to Black
This was my first collection for Lakme Fashion week. The inspiration behind this collection was to transform the age old technique of hand block printing into something extremely contemporary and totally unrecognizable in its form. Well, my answer was this amazing collection. Here I am sharing with you a glimpse into the process of my designing where in you can see how I have a mood board and how I take my fabric developments and convert them in to a collection. The photoshoot is also done on purpose with only a single model among a group of mannequins.

My first venture as a fashion designer was with the amazing brand of Pallavi Jaipur. And this was my very first collection for the brand and that is why it is extremely close to my heart. Aptly titled 'Kitsch-di', this collection drew inspiration from the kitschy folk and tribal artforms of Rajasthan and transform them into beautiful embroideries and embellishments for a very delicate collection of chiffon and georgette dresses. This collection gave me the confidence to establish my signature as designer and an embroiderer in the coming years. Have a look at my embroideries collection.
Bad romance
This was my 'first-ever' first collection, lol. For my graduation collection, I had chosen to research and present the mysterious life of Lady GAGA, and the conspiracy theories surrounding her success. This wild avant garde collection was where I found I have a talent to turn the obscure into beautiful. The foundation for all my future design processes was laid with this collection. Here I have shared with you what I had done as a student myself, the mood board, fabric/accessory board, doodles and final sketches.Have a look at my other avant garde creations.
