Embroideries
I never thought that when I started as a designer, one day I would become an addict. Yes, I have an addiction to Indian embroideries. Having learnt from the 'karigars' themselves, I love everything about a stitch and how it holds everything so beautifully. Let me share with you some of my unique embroideries that I have created over the years.
C.O.W. - tribal series
For my brand C.O.W., I create beautiful hand embroidered wall paintings. Converting my musings into work of arts with the help of my artisanal friends I give expression and meaning to my drawings. For this particular 'Tribal series' I tell the story of strong and beautiful Indian women - a Tribe unto their own'. Taking inspiration from across India the series has depicted women with raw sensuality and strength. Using all the techniques of Indian embroideries of zardozi and aari, I have created these beautiful pieces.

C.O.W. - hasta mudras
For my brand C.O.W., I create beautiful hand embroidered wall paintings. Converting my musings into work of arts with the help of my artisanal friends I give expression and meaning to my drawings. This series of 'hast mudras' is inspired by the beauty of the Indian Dance forms and Yoga, tranquil and serene is how one feels when looking at them. Beautifully adorned hands making graceful motions and telling tales. Using all the techniques of Indian embroideries of zardozi and aari, I have created these beautiful pieces.

As a freelance embroiderer I used to do a lot of embroideries for other designers. This set of embroideries is my most beloved collection. A beautiful amalgamation of the modern ideas backed with traditional techniques of Indian embroideries. Using the regular everyday material used by the artisans and giving them a slight twist is where this collection triumphs. The use of colors and beads is a juxtaposition of how I see these elements in a composition.
